The North Dakota Department of Health says a produced water spill, resulting from a pipeline release, has occurred in Dunn County.
The incident happened 14 miles west of Killdeer. The cause is under investigation.
Initial estimates indicate approximately 1,520 barrels of produced water were released and impacted rangeland. The pipeline is owned by Petro-Hunt, LLC.
