12:25 A.M. UPDATE: Fargo Police are investigating a deadly shooting in south Fargo.
According to Fargo Police Public Information Officer Jessica Schindeldecker, Fargo Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 44th Street South Friday evening on a report of a shooting. The call came into police at 10:22 p.m.
Police found a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Schindeldecker says no one is in custody at this time, and the investigation is active.
Anyone with information is asked to call Fargo Police.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Red River Regional Dispatch Center in Fargo confirms to WZFG Radio News that Fargo Police are on the scene of a shooting in the 1100 block of 44th Street South.
