Career Development Education Program receives CTE Director’s Award of Excellence

 

The Career Development program at Sheyenne High School has received the Director’s Award of Excellence from the North Dakota Department of Career & Technical Education. The award is an acknowledgement of superior career and technical education programs in the state. 

The Sheyenne High School program was selected for providing and promoting service-learning experiences, offering timely occupational information to students concerning employment and labor market data, promoting gender equity, and the supporting nontraditional students.

The Sheyenne High School program is under the leadership of career advisor Penny Aipperspach; counselors Jessica Steiner, Mitchell Grunig, Krystal Haugen, Jessica Raile; and Dr. Denise Jonas, Director of the Cass County Career & Technical Education Center.
