A 29-year-old Fort Totten man has died from injuries sustained in an accident on Tuesday south of Devils Lake.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Clarence Brown, of Fort Totten, was walking southbound along Highway 20, wearing dark clothing. 61-year-old Dennis Possen, of Devils Lake, was driving southbound along the same highway.
The report says Possen could not see Brown due to the dark conditions and clothing, and struck Brown.
Brown was severely injured and transported to the hospital, where he died.
The investigation continues by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
