Horace High School launching school song competition

Horace High School is working to establish its school spirit and community in preparation for the new school opening next fall. One of the most important aspects of a high school is its school song and Horace High School invites stakeholders and artists alike to submit a musical composition for official consideration as the school song.

Between November 16, 2020 – March 15, 2021, members of the community are invited to submit a musical piece and application for consideration of the school song. Submissions can be sent via email to infoatwest-fargo [dot] k12 [dot] nd [dot] us with the subject line of HHS School Song Entry.

The final selection will be made by the students, staff, and administration of Horace High School in late spring 2021.

The composer of the winning submission will receive the lifetime honor of having their piece utilized as the official school song of West Fargo Horace High School. The song will be played and sung by the Horace Hawk community for decades to come. Additionally, the winning submission and composer’s information will be displayed within Horace High School and the composer will receive a spirit package inclusive of Hawk spirit gear.
