West Fargo Man Pleads Not Guilty

A West Fargo man, Levi Allmaras, has pled not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of aggravated reckless driving, following the June 2018 death of Cameron Bolton, who was killed in a crash involving Allmaras, Bolton and a passenger vehicle.

According to court documents, Allmaras “drove a motor vehicle recklessly in disregard of the rights or safety of others and by reason of such reckless driving caused and inflicted injury…”

The accident happened on June 28 at approximately 8:40 p.m.

An incident report, obtained by WZFG News, says Allmaras was administered a preliminary breath test, which indicated a blood alcohol content level of .014 BAC, which is below the legal limit of .08 BAC.

Allmaras did not submit to a blood test when asked.

The report says that, because of Allmaras’ low AC level, he would not be legally driving under the influence.

Allmaras’ next court appearance is January 10, 2019 in Cass County District Court.
