Heitkamp to Deliver U.S. Senate Farewell Tuesday, December 11

U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp will deliver her final speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, December 11 at 12:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. CT.

Heitkamp grew up in the rural community of Mantador, North Dakota and is the daughter of a school cook and seasonal construction worker. She joined the U.S. Senate in January 2013 as the first ever elected female senator for North Dakota. For the last six years, as well as throughout her career in public service, Heitkamp has stood up for working families across North Dakota and fought for rural America.
