Two Grand Forks residents have been charged after fleeing from a crash early Monday morning, according to the Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 4:48 a.m., a deputy spotted a car, which had crashed into a grove of trees on Oxbow Court, near Gateway Drive.
Tron Watson, 38, left the car, grabbed a bag and fled from the officer.
Dionna Persaud, 30, continued to attempt to drive out of the trees.
Persaud faces charges of driving under suspension and hindering law enforcement.
Watson faces a charge of refusal to halt.
