Fargo Police Arrest Escaped Clay County Inmate

Fargo Police News Release:

Fargo Police Officers began searching for an escaped inmate from Clay County. The inmate, Jonathan Randall Evitt, 29 years old of Moorhead, M.N., had escaped a work detail in Moorhead and fled on foot into Fargo. A citizen called dispatch to report they had seen a suspicious male wearing orange clothing running in downtown Fargo. A Fargo Officer located Evitt, still wearing his orange jail uniform, in the area of 1000 block of 5 Ave. N. Evitt fled from the officer and was apprehended in the 400 block of 11 St. N. Evitt was arrested for refusing to halt and fugitive from justice.
