The American Red Cross continues its work in northern California, providing services to those affected by Camp Fire.
Three volunteers from the Dakotas Region are departing for a two-week deployment in Chico, Calif., where they will work in shelters put together by the Red Cross.
Sandra Heggeness, Fargo, and Carrie Odegaard, Shelly, Minn., will depart today.
A third volunteer, Dan Wall, Madison, S.D., will depart from Sioux Falls for the deployment.
