With the incident ongoing just outside of Mayville Friday, the May-Port-CG Public School District’s administration put a civil disturbance lockdown in place.
Superintendent Mike Bradner tells WZFG News that the lockdown was in place for approximately 30 minutes. Bradner says that, during that time, no students were able to exit the building, and those attempting to enter the building, were not able to, as the complete perimeter of the school was locked down.
Both the middle school/high school and elementary school were in lockdown.
