Fargo To Delay Water Main Replacement

The Fargo City Commission Cote’s Monday to delay the replacement of old water mains. The main reason is the City of Fargo needs $13.5 million after changing the special assessment policy to reduce the cost of streets and sewers for homeowners. By not replacing the mains now, the City has more time to save up enough sales tax. The vote to delay the replacement project was 5-1.
