Closure Along 42nd Street South

Beginning on Friday, April 19, 42nd Street southbound will be closed to through traffic between 11th and 13th Avenues South. Southbound vehicles will be detoured east on 9th Avenue South then south on 38th Street South to 13th Avenue South. The closure is necessary to facilitate a pipeline repair and is expected to be in place for one week.  As work progresses, there may be impacts to northbound 42nd Street traffic as well.
