The Fargo Police Department conducted extra impaired driving enforcement details from April through June of 2019 using a North Dakota Department of Transportation Grant.
During this time period, four officers conducted 16 enforcement details for a total of 102.50 hours resulting in 106 enforcement contacts.
Officers made 12 DUI arrests and cited three for refusal of chemical tests. Officers also issued one child restraint, made four drug arrests, two felony violations, two minor consuming, one open container, four other criminal citations, 16 other traffic citations, one reckless driving citation, 19 speed citations, four suspended or revoked license, four uninsured motorist, and three warrant apprehensions for a total of 76 citations/arrests and 60 traffic warnings.
