Drugs Seized in Red Lake

Officers from the Red Lake Police department have seized drugs from a body-only arrest warrant Tuesdayin Red Lake. According to the police department, while executive the warrant on 42-year-old Angela Beaulieu,officers discovered several items in plain view consistent with drug sales and use including paraphernalia and subsequently executed an additional search warrant for illegal drugs and the items associated with drug sales. They also seized nearly three grams of heroin and methamphetamine, as well as cash. Officers also confiscated a vehicle.

Beaulieu is facing charges of illegal drug sales, as well as possession of a controlled substance in Tribal Courts.

Beaulieu will be extradited to Beltrami County for an outstanding felony warrant.
