Goldwyn appointed to fill remainder of late legislator’s term in the N.D. House

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota House has a new member.

The District 11 Democratic Executive Committee has chosen Adam Goldwyn to fill State Representative Liz Conmy of Fargo’s term after she died last month in a plane crash.

“I’m honored to be able to fill the term of my dear friend, Liz Conmy,” he said. “I look forward to carrying on her commitment to the working families of our state.”

Goldwyn, a professor at North Dakota State University, is chairman of the North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party and a member of North Dakota United.

Conmy’s term ends November 30 and Goldwyn says he doesn’t intend to run for the seat in the general election.
