West Fargo Teacher Places Third In Javelin At U.S. Trials

(Eugene, OR) -- A North Dakota State University alumnus and West Fargo teacher is waiting to see if he has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics.  

Cheney Middle School Physical Education teacher Riley Dolezal placed third in the javelin at the U.S. Olympic Trials over the weekend.  

His throw was 252 feet, ten inches, which missed the Olympic standard of 278 feet, ten inches.  

He will find out at the end of the month if his world ranking earns him a place on Team USA.
