(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Police have released its mid-year report.
The report shows the department conducted 65 use of force reviews and placed one officer on a performance improvement contract for excessive use of force in the first half of 2021. Less than one-percent of the nearly 48-thousand calls for service included use of force.
Officials posted on Facebook that the report is meant to provide better transparency into the department's practices and to build community trust.
