UND dispels rumor about President Armacost's death

(Grand Forks, ND)  --  The University of North Dakota is dispelling a rumor that President Andy Armacost has died.  

The university tweeted Monday afternoon that Armacost is alive and well and that a rumor that he had passed away is absolutely untrue. Officials say the rumor started on Yik Yak and that they have no idea why the rumor started except as an anonymous prank.  

Armacost spent Monday afternoon in meetings.
