Area school districts close, go to remote learning due to winter weather

(Fargo, ND) -- Winter weather is back in the FM Metro, and that means closures and delays in school districts across the Red River Valley.

Fargo Public Schools, along with all area Boys and Girls Club locations and NDSU are closed today due to inclement weather.

Due to Fargo Schools having a longer than required school day at all academic levels, this school day will not need to be made up. NDSU meanwhile is only requiring essential personnel to report to the college Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Moorhead and West Fargo students will also get to stay home too, but are required to complete an e-learning day.

All before and after-school activities for Moorhead and West Fargo schools are also canceled.

Concordia College is also delaying classes until 10 a.m.
