Moorhead offering grants to residents who build community garden locations

(Moorhead, MN) -- The City of Moorhead is sponsoring a grant for organizations and individuals for the construction of community gardens on private land.

City officials say would like to award four different $500 grants. The community garden plots must be open and available to the public. They must also be free or have a minimal cost to for membership and conservation, which must only be spent for garden purposes only.
