(West Fargo, ND) -- Monday night is set to be a busy one for the West Fargo School Board.

Members will look to tackle several issues, including approving nearly 20 full-time equivalent positions, approve bids for the new Meadowlark Elementary School playground and 2023 pavement projects around the district, and continue to push forward plans involving the expansion of the West Fargo Sports Arena.

Funding for the teaching positions would cost roughly $1.3 million in general fund dollars, while the playground bid would be roughly $200,000.

The anticipated pavement construction budget has been put at $1 million, and would include projects at Westside, LE Berger, Deer Creek and Horace Elementary Schools, as well as Liberty Middle School and West Fargo and Sheyenne High Schools. The projects range from parking lots to basketball courts to curb replacements.
