Grand Forks Police launch investigation into criminal mischief to vehicles

(GRAND FORKS) – Grand Forks Police have launched an investigation after finding damage to vehicles.

According to a press release, officers were dispatched to the area of the 1700 through 2300 blocks of 9th and 10th Avenue North on a report of criminal mischief to vehicles. After checking the area, officers found a large number of vehicles with one or more tires damaged and deflated. The suspect, or suspects, are unknown at this time.

“We believe the damage occurred between 11:30 p.m. on October 1 and 12:30 a.m. on October 2,” the release stated.

Grand Forks Police are investigating and are seeking assistance from the community. Anyone who may have witnessed the event, has more information, or has video of the suspect or suspects, is asked to call Grand Forks Police at 701-787-8000.
