(Fargo, ND) -- The City of Fargo says seasonal parking restrictions are now in effect.

The changes allow for snow plows and public works crews to make sure the streets can be properly cleared during the winter months. Parking restrictions are now in effect for east/west avenues on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and for North/South streets on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Additional seasonal parking changes are in effect for multiple areas in the city. This includes between 19th Avenue North to 13th Avenue South, the Red River to 25th Street North and 25th Street South, and other restrictions that currently have year-round ordinances like the central business district.

More parking changes are also in place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the areas of 12th avenue North to I-94 and from the Red River to 25th Street North and 25th Street South, including the Madison Neighborhood.
