Former Shanley High School baseball coach pleads guilty to domestic violence charges

(Fargo, ND) -- A former baseball coach from Fargo's Shanley High School has pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a domestic violence incident.

Back in July, police say 37-year-old Nicholas Tweiten got into an argument with his wife after he came home from a bar.

He allegedly hit her in the face twice and pointed a loaded handgun at her.

Tweiten was arrested and charged with terrorizing and domestic violence, and he pleaded guilty to both charges on Monday.

His sentencing is scheduled for January 22nd.
