Red River Valley SWAT arrest man with multiple federal warrants for arrest.

(Fargo, ND) -- A man with multiple federal warrants for their arrest is in custody after a search warrant was executed with the Red River Valley SWAT Team.

The Fargo Police Department metro street crimes unit was attempting to locate multiple suspects when an individual fled into an apartment building. A spokesperson for the Police Department says The Red River Valley SWAT Team, the Metro Street Crimes unit, and the Cass County Sheriff's office then conducted a search warrant in the 1600 block of 35th Street South. The search was conducted on Friday, December 22nd at 6:07 p.m.

Authorities say they were searching for 29-year old Amar Kovacevic, a person who has multiple felony warrants out for his arrest. Kovacevic was arrested and later transported to the Cass County Jail.

Several other people were inside the building. The spokesperson did not say if any other individuals besides Kovacevic were arrested in the search warrant.
