Red River no longer in flooding stage after holiday rainfall

(Fargo, ND) -- The Red River is no longer in flood stage after an unseasonable rainfall lead to a rise in water levels over the holidays.

The river crested at 18.64ft on Sunday night, which is just above minor flooding stage. The Red River is currently at 16.7ft, and is forecast to drop into the week.
