High-Risk sex offender registers address in Fargo

(Fargo, ND) -- A high-risk sex offender has officially registered their address in Fargo. 

The Fargo Police Department says Austin Dion Mees (43m, Fargo) registered his address at 727 14th Street North. He is described as 5'11", 185lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair. He is considered a High-Risk offender by the North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee. 

Mees was convicted in Burleigh County District Court in 1997 for two counts of gross sexual imposition. The victim was a 5-year-old boy at the time.
