Fargo Park District: Several events scheduled for early January

(Fargo, ND) -- Frostival in Fargo is kicking off 2024 with several winter themed events.

Multiple events are scheduled for the early months of 2024 for Frostival this year in Fargo. A summary of the events and their timeline can be found by clicking here.

Drop-in Broomball - Starting Jan 7th. Will take place from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Cornerstone Bank Arena each Sunday in January and February.
S'mores & More - Starting Jan 8th at Roosevelt Park. Event(s) go from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at each park. Other S'mores & More locations include Clara Barton Park (Monday, Jan. 15th), Longfellow Park (Monday, Jan. 22nd), and Centennial Park (Monday, Jan. 29th). Event staff ask participants to bring their own skates.
Youth Ice Fishing Derby - Starts Saturday, Jan 13th at South Woodhaven Pond from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. for people aged 15 and younger. Event staff ask participants to bring your own gear.
Winterfest Volleyball Tournament - Taking place between February 3rd and 4th and is open to all players. Participants are encouraged to register by January 17th.
Winter Birding Festival - Starts Saturday, Jan 20th at 9:00 a.m. and goes until 12:00 p.m. It is free and open to the public. Event staff ask participants to bring a pair of binoculars.
Cardboard Sled Races - Jan 20th
Open swims - Every Sat. and Sun.
Drop-in Hockey - Every Wednesday | Lunch Hour: between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and Novice between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Swimming Lessons - Winter Session (3 weeks in Jan)
