UPDATE: Driver facing charges after accident involving flatbed truck on I-29 in Fargo

(Fargo, ND) -- Two people were injured in a crash late Tuesday morning on I-29 south in Fargo. 

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a driver in a compact car clipped the back end of a flatbed truck, which was stopped on the right shoulder of the highway just north of the 52nd Avenue exit. 

The driver of the compact, 23-year-old Moorhead resident Rachel Krueger sustained minor injuries.  

Her passenger, 22-year-old Indiana resident Logan Fuller, suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries. 

Both were wearing seat belts. 

The driver of the flatbed was not at the accident scene. 

Krueger was cited for failure to maintain lane and distracted driving. 

Additional charges are possible.
