North Dakota Highway Patrol to conduct Cass County checkpoint

(Cass Co., ND)  --  The North Dakota Highway Patrol will be out on the roads cracking down on drivers under the influence over the St. Patrick's Day weekend.

St. Patrick's Day is this Sunday.

The Highway Patrol and the Cass County Sheriff's Office say they'll be conducting a DUI checkpoint on Saturday, March 16th.

There will also be saturation patrols throughout Cass County.

Authorities say people need to designate a sober driver or schedule a ride-share if they plan on drinking alcohol.
