(Mapleton, ND) -- A man who shot at a woman in Mapleton last June is now sentenced to five years in prison.

Kyle Quido (27m) was charged with Aggravated Assault, Terrorizing, Reckless Endangerment, and Refusal to Halt. An Attempted Murder charge was dropped as part of a plea deal.

Authorities originally responded to a domestic disturbance call shorty after 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, as Quido and an unnamed female victim were in the middle of a verbal argument. Cass County Sheriff's Deputies say when they arrived at the residence Quido led them on a short foot pursuit before being apprehended.

Law Enforcement later learned Quido fired a gun during the dispute with the woman.
