Man sentenced in connection with deadly crash on I-94 in Fargo

(Fargo, ND) -- A man has been sentenced to three years in prison and two years of supervised probation in connection with a deadly 2022 crash in Fargo.

It happened along Interstate 94, when Shandi Cordner crashed into the back of an SUV pulled over on the side of the road, hitting two men who were standing by the vehicle.

Both men were severely injured, and one later died.

Cordner was initially facing an aggravated reckless driving charge.

He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of reckless endangerment on Monday.
