(West Fargo, ND) -- A Democratic Non Partisan League candidate is announcing her candidacy for North Dakota's Senate in a West Fargo district.

Heather Tyulyandin is a 23-year-old First Generation College student and has received the endorsement of the District 16 Dem-NPL, who represents southern West Fargo. Tyulyandin tells us her priorities include education, workforce development, food insecurity, and reproductive rights.

"I believe in putting people first. There are times where we have to choose between our citizens and increasing profits - it's an easy decision for me. People will always be at the center of my votes and policies," said Tyulyandin.

She is running to replace incumbent GOP Senator David Clemens. You can find more information about Tyulyandin by clicking here
