(Fargo, ND) -- A new campaign is underway at the Fargo Air Museum to "Save the Sabre".
It's an old F-86 Air Force jet that was once used during the Korean War, that will soon be on display in Fargo.
"It turns out that the Fargo Air Museum's co-founder Major General Darrol Schroeder actually had time in the F-86 in France in the late 1950s," said Air Museum Curator Max Sabin.
Sabin said the old jet is currently in Jamestown.
He said they hope to have the F-86 shipped to them and re-assembled in time for the museum's fund raising auction planned for September 12th.
They're aiming to raise 60 thousand dollars to help pay for the project.
