(Fargo, ND) -- The President and CEO of the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce is talking about the importance of safe communities when it comes to attracting new businesses and economic development to the metro.

"In order to attract talent people want safe communities. They want to make sure that they have the ability to interact and engage with our officers, and I think our police force here and our safety numbers is definitely one of the things that is an attribute to this region," said Shannon Full.

Full also said strong law enforcement agencies and safe communities play a positive role in helping employers retain employees.

Full made the comments during the chamber's "Eggs and Issues" event Tuesday morning in Moorhead.
