(West Fargo, ND) -- A West Fargo city representative has announced an upcoming partial intersection closure in the city to allow for water main repairs.
The city's Communication Manager Addie Stewart made the announcement Thursday afternoon.
"Twelfth Street NW and Main Avenue W. will experience a partial intersection closure beginning Monday, April 15 for water main repairs. All work is anticipated to be complete by Monday, April 22, pending weather conditions. Motorists traveling westbound on Main Avenue W. will experience a partial lane reduction as traffic is diverted to a single lane to allow for repairs. Motorists turning westbound onto Main Avenue W. from 12th Street NW will be detoured to alternate routes throughout the closure. Detour signs will be posted throughout the duration of the repair work.Motorists in these areas may encounter congestion and delays during the morning and evening commutes and should adjust their travel plans accordingly. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress."
