Fargo School Board candidate: "we need to look at what they're doing with that money"

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo School Board candidate Jason Nelson says fiscal responsibility will be a priority for him if elected.

"Governments have ballooned over covid and used some of the covid money to grow. We need to look at what they're doing with that money now that is gone, and how we are spending it, and look at reducing our overhead as building costs increase," said Nelson.

The former Fargo Police detective also said other priorities include campus safety and security, and transparency.

He made the comments while taking part in candidate's a debate last night hosted by WDAY Radio.

The livestream video of the debate is posted on the WDAY Radio Now Facebook page.
