MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Moorhead Fire Department said no one is hurt after a deck fire that spread to a duplex.
Crews responded around 11:00 AM to the 4500 block of 19th Street South.
Police officers helped evacuate the building.
Authorities say the fire went over a large part of one of the unit’s living spaces, attic and roof. The second unit has a large amount of fire damage and a neighboring home has heat damage.
Natural gas and electricity was disconnected as a precaution.
The fire’s cause is under investigation.
