(Washington, DC)  --  Both President Biden and former President Trump are set to visit the U.S.-Mexico border today.

This comes as controversy over the handling of the migrant crisis continues. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters the president will meet with border patrol agents and local leaders in Brownsville, Texas. He'll also call on Republicans to vote to pass a bipartisan border security deal negotiated in the Senate.

Donald Trump meanwhile will deliver remarks in Eagle Pass, Texas.
