(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minneapolis-based Xcel Energy is admitting their electrical equipment appears to be involved in lighting the largest wildfire in Texas history.

The state of Texas says a utility pole fell and started the fire that burned more than a million acres in Texas, and more in Oklahoma. Xcel disputes accusations the company acted with negligence in maintaining and operating their equipment.

At least two people have died in the fire.
