North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum joins several VP hopefuls at Mar-a-Lago

(WDAY Radio) -- It's another sign Governor Doug Burgum could be on the short list for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's running mate.  

Governor Burgum was in Florida at the former president's Mar-a-Lago estate for a fundraiser over the weekend.  Aside from this being a typical fundraiser, many have speculated that the event was also a gathering of the former President's potential vice-presidential candidates.  

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, and a handful of other Senators were also at the fundraiser.
