ND Governor Doug Burgum non-committal when asked about possible role as Trump VP

(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum was non-committal when asked if he would serve as Donald Trump's running mate if asked to do so.

"I've got a fantastic job right now, one of the greatest jobs in the world, the governor of North Dakota. I can have an opportunity to run for a third term in North Dakota or I an go back to the private sector. So these are all options that I have," said Burgum.

Burgum says rather than answering hypothetical questions, the priority right now is to unite the republican party.

The governor made the comment while appearing on The Story with Martha MacCullum on Fox News.
