(WDAY Radio) -- A new report shows that North Dakota has the lowest percentage rate of teacher salary increases, at 0.76%.

That's according to data from the National Education Association. In North Dakota, the average teacher salary sits at close to $57,000, while starting pay is closer to $42,000. State leaders are concerned that they'll struggle to recruit or retain teachers at this rate.
