(Washington, DC)  --  The Pentagon has reportedly stopped Russia from using SpaceX Starlink internet terminals in its war against Ukraine.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy John Plumb said the U.S. has been "heavily involved" in working with Ukraine's government and SpaceX "to counter Russian illicit use of Starlink terminals."

Plumb added that he's "certain Russia will continue to try and find ways to exploit Starlink and other commercial communications systems."
