WAHPETON, N.D. – North Dakota State College of Science wants to raise $100,000 to install an indoor turf training space in the Clair T. Blikre Activities Center.

The new facility will allow athletes to train year-round regardless of the weather.

A generous donor has agreed to match all donations up to $50,000.

“Our football team has played in two of the last four national championships. When we get late in the year, we’ve been battling snow and the cold. This will allow them to practice later in the year. It keeps us competitive with those teams that are playing further south than us,” NDSCS Athletic Director Reggie Jackson said.
