(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota is set to have a new option for disposing of radioactive waste.
The North Dakota Industrial Commission recently allowed a second well set for McKenzie County. The waste would be mixed with saltwater and would be injected underground.
State Mineral Resources Director Lynn Helms anticipates Williams, Mountrail, and Dunn Counties could each have a well down the road.
