(St. Paul, MN) -- Governor Tim Walz is bringing some holiday cheer to Minnesota soldiers deployed overseas.
Walz visited with soldiers from the Minnesota National Guard's 347th Regional Support Group and members of the RSG's 147th Human Resources Company in Kuwait this week.
Over 80 soldiers with the 347th RSG were deployed in April to the Middle East to provide assistance in areas such as base operations and logistics support.
Another 25 from the 147th HRC went over to the Middle East in September.
