Governor Walz tweets plans to reduce Gun Violence

(St. Paul, MN) -- Two shootings at two memorial services from this past weekend has Minnesota Governor Tim Walz tweeting about his plans to do something to curb the violence.

Walz says the shootings are unacceptable. Three people were shot Friday, then on Saturday five more were shot, with two dead and one critical.

The Governor said in his tweets that he is committed to increasing public safety funding, getting illegal guns off the streets, and addressing gang activity.
