(Fargo, ND) -- Travel conditions across the Red River Valley have improved going into your workweek.

Current travel conditions inside Fargo show icy patches and stretches of roadway. Outside of the metro, travelers on I-29 can expect to see patchy snow spots as they travel towards the Hillsboro area, with conditions clearing south of Gardner and north of Buxton. These snow patches are largely limited to roadways in Traill and Steele counties.

The road conditions improved dramatically compared to Saturday, when state transportation officials issued travel alerts and no travel advisories for many counties across central and eastern North Dakota. Minnesota conditions also saw several improvements, with no current regional roadways in the state seeing any travel alerts or advisories.
